Lazorex 2D: from on-site measurement to a working drawing

Not a tape measure, not a 3D scanner — ready-to-use 2D geometry with no lengthy post-processing.

Lazorex 2D is a combination of a measuring device, a mobile app, and Lazorex Studio. The surveyor captures room geometry on site, and the designer receives an accurate contour, ready to build the product from.

01

What the device does

  • Laser measurement of geometry, point by point, right on site
  • Captures the outline of the room, walls and openings
  • Works under real construction and renovation conditions
  • Complex geometry: niches, columns, radii and non-square corners
  • No diagonals to measure: the outline is captured point by point
02

What the mobile app does

  • Shows the measurement outline right on site
  • Lets you check and complete the measurement on the spot
  • Saves the measurement to a project file (.lazx)
03

What Lazorex Studio does

  • Imports the measurement (.lazx) into the editor with no conversion
  • Builds the product from the real room geometry
  • Carries the order forward: material, layout, quote, production

Who it suits

Architects and designers

The outline of the room with its openings and niches — a basis taken on site, not reconstructed from a tape measure.

Stone fabricators

The measurement becomes the product drawing in Studio: worktops, window sills, staircases, cladding.

Ceiling and flooring crews

Area and perimeter of a room with complex geometry — from the captured outline, without measuring diagonals.

Furniture makers

Kitchens and cabinets fit the real walls: deviations, niches and projections are visible.

  • .lazx — the measurement file for Lazorex Studio

The measurement goes into the software your team already uses; for Lazorex Studio it is a .lazx file with no conversion.

The measurement journey

  1. 1

Measure with the device on site

  2. 2

    Verify in the mobile app

  3. 3

Import the .lazx file into Lazorex Studio

  4. 4

Build the product from the measurement

Building the product from the measurement is done by the designer in the editor — the system provides accurate geometry and tools, but it doesn’t "draw the countertop by itself." We deliberately don’t promise automation that doesn’t exist.
