FAQ

The questions we get asked most often before onboarding.

What is Lazorex Studio?

It’s a cloud system for stone fabrication businesses that brings CRM, 2D/3D product drawing, slab inventory, part layout, quotes, orders, and production prep together in one workspace.

Who is the system for?

Countertop and stone product fabricators — from small workshops to full production facilities with sales, design, warehouse and shop floor teams. You can start with the basic modules and expand as you grow.

Do I need to install anything on my computers?

No. Lazorex Studio runs in the browser, on any modern computer. There’s no server to install and no infrastructure to maintain.

What formats are supported?

Import of Lazorex 2D device measurements (.lazx) and DXF files; export of layouts to DXF for CNC machines, and printable sets to PDF.

Can multiple staff members work in it?

Yes, the system is built for team use. Staff join by invitation and are assigned roles — manager, designer, warehouse, shop floor — each seeing and changing only what relates to their work.

How do I get started?

Through a request on the site: a demo, a review of your process, agreeing on the module scope, a contract — and then launching your workspace with team training.

Is training included?

Yes, when you get started we train your team and help with initial setup: material catalogs, price lists, staff roles.

How is the system paid for?

By contract and invoice, via bank transfer. There’s no online checkout on the site — scope and cost are agreed individually.

Can I start with just a few modules?

Yes. Many teams start with CRM, drawings and quotes, then add slab inventory, layout and production as a next step.

How are Lazorex 2D and Lazorex Studio connected?

Lazorex 2D is the measuring device and mobile app. The measurement is saved to a .lazx file and imported into Lazorex Studio, where the product is built from the real room geometry and the whole order is managed from there.
